Disaster victim experts have been called to the scene of a crash involving three fatalities. The three victims were killed when the B-double truck crossed over to the wrong side of the Hume Highway at Menangle in NSW and ran over the top of the Ford Sedan
A police spokesperson stated that the truck had literally flattened the Ford making it impossible to tell the ages and the sex of the victims. It is alleged that the driver of the truck may have fallen asleep or lost concentration moments before the accident.
The truck driver was taken to Campbelltown Hospital where he is being treated for shock and minor injuries. It is reported that he wasn’t seriously hurt. He will, however, go through routine blood and alcohol tests as part of the police investigation.
It will take a while until police have fully investigated the accident and clear the lanes. It’s a horrific accident which has left many stunned.
As a car accident lawyer Long Beach, it’s always a tragedy when I come across such cases. We offer our deepest condolences to the victim’s family.
